Delaware Senate confirms chief information officer

Posted

DOVER — The state Senate confirmed Department of Technology and Information chief technology officer Greg Lane as the agency’s chief information officer Wednesday.

Mr. Lane will replace Jason Clarke, who is leaving his role for a position in the private sector.

“I am confident Greg will continue the important technology initiatives going on in the Department of Technology and Information. His experience in the public and private sector will help push forward our work to expand broadband, transition to more digital government services and prioritize cybersecurity,” Gov. John Carney said. “I want to thank Greg for his willingness to serve and members of the Delaware Senate for voting to confirm his nomination.”

Mr. Lane has served as chief technology officer since 2017. He previously worked as chief information officer at The Chemours Co., as well as in various information technology roles at E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Co.
