WILMINGTON — The Delaware HIV Consortium is requesting community involvement for its 19th annual WOW! Awards Gala & Auction.
For the second time in the event’s history, the agency is asking for public participation in naming the Red Ribbon Award honorees.
The consortium bestows these awards upon individuals, corporations and organizations for displaying excellence in leadership, service, volunteerism and philanthropy in the field of HIV in Delaware.

Jack Markell and Lt. Gov. Bethany Hall-Long; nonprofit leaders Brother Ronald Giannone and Ruth Lytle-Barnaby; and the private entities M-A-C AIDS Fund, Highmark Delaware and Walgreens.
Nominations can be submitted through Feb. 23. Any individual, corporation, nonprofit or other organization contributing to Delaware’s HIV or related community is eligible. Awardees will be honored during the WOW! Awards Gala & Auction at the Hockessin Memorial Hall on April 19.
