DOVER — The Delaware Department of Health and Social Services’ Division of Services for Aging and Adults With Physical Disabilities is seeking public comments on its proposed October 2024-September 2028 State Plan on Aging.

Five hearings will allow residents to offer thoughts on the plan. The schedule is:

  • April 16, 10 a.m. — Hispanic American Association of Delaware, 1801 Lancaster Ave., Wilmington
  • April 18, 1 p.m. — Middletown Odessa Townsend Jean Birch Senior Center, 300 S. Scott St., Middletown

  • May 2, 6 p.m. — via Zoom

The plan has been developed to meet requirements under titles III and VII of the Older Americans Act, which provides funding for services for older Delawareans and their caregivers, including support, disease prevention, health promotion and elder rights.
