SELBYVILLE — The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays will host its second annual Green Screen Film Night at 5 p.m. April 17 at Signatures Bayside in Selbyville.

Hosted in partnership with the Bayside Institute, the event will feature a buffet dinner and a screening of the environmental documentary “Salted Earth,” followed by a panel discussion with environmental experts and Center staff.

Tickets are $50 and may be purchased by visiting inlandbays.org.

Dinner will be prepared by Signatures at Bayside, offering a variety of options. Vegetarian and vegan plates are available upon reservation.

Released in 2023, "Salted Earth" delves into the urgent climate threats facing the coastal region, including sea level rise and the resulting encroaching saltwater that threatens the environment, economy, and way of life.

Expert panelists include Stephanie Stotts, PhD associate professor, Forest Ecology at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Jon Cox, MFA associate professor, Department of Art at the University of Delaware, and Dannielle Pratt, PhD candidate, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Delaware.
