Cupcake fundraiser to support Georgetown Public Library

GEORGETOWN — A sweet fundraiser is in the works for the Georgetown Public Library.

Attendees will decorate freshly baked cupcakes with an array of frosting, toppings, sprinkles and decorations April 27, with Jeannie Biamby, owner of Biamby Sweet Treats, providing instruction.

The event will run from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the library, 123 W. Pine St.

“We are thrilled to host our Cupcake Decorating Fundraiser,” said Meghan Palazzo, the facility’s assistant director. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together, have fun and make a positive impact.”

No experience is necessary. Participants will decorate only, not bake.

Each $40 ticket will include 12 cupcakes, piping bags, buttercream frosting, sprinkles and guidance. Decorators can take their cupcakes home or leave them as a gift.

Tickets must be purchased in advance at delawarelibraries.libcal.com/event/11963080 or by calling at 302-856-7958. Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card at the library.
