DOVER — A pickup truck struck a utility pole Wednesday night, causing a power outage of more than an hour, the city said in a Facebook post.

The crash occurred in the area of North DuPont Highway and Leipsic Road in front of the Home Depot and most of the power was restored by 11 p.m., the city said

Replacement of the pole and wires, restoration of the remaining customers except for Chase Bank, and cleanup was finally accomplished at 5:16 a.m. Thursday, the city said.
