Coastal Georgetown branch meeting to focus on environment

REHOBOTH BEACH — The Coastal Georgetown branch of the American Association of University Women will meet at 11 a.m. on May 18 at Big Fish Grill.

Kesha Braunskill, state coordinator for the Delaware Urban and Community Forestry Program, will be the guest speaker.

Ms. Braunskill's official role involves working closely with communities and citizens to promote proper stewardship of community trees. 

The goal of her program is building tree canopy throughout the state and supporting community engagement in managing their urban forests. 

Ms. Braunskill received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland in Animal Science and a master’s degree in Natural Resources from Delaware State University.
