Car, truck, fire apparatus show is July 20 in Georgetown

By Glenn RolfeGEORGETOWN — Cars, trucks and fire vehicles will be showcased July 20 at the Georgetown Historical Society.
Society spokesman Jim Bowden said at least 10 fire companies will bring equipment, with a dozen or more vintage firetrucks expected.
The County Seat Cruisers is sponsoring the car-and-truck show.
There also will be an open house in the museum buildings.
The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 510 S. Bedford St. Admission is free, and refreshments will be available.
