Sussex Board of Adjustment rehears three cases

Posted

GEORGETOWN — Monday’s regular meeting of the Sussex County Board of Adjustment kicked off with a redo of three public hearings, based on a clerical error.

Filed paperwork contained in the applications of Keystone Novelties Distributors, which sought and received variances for seasonal firework sales, and a side yard setback request by the Nieves family in May were heard and approved by the board.

Officials also refunded the application price for the Nieveses, since they had to return to the board for a second approval.

These changes become official once the findings of fact are accepted at the board’s next meeting, July 1.
