Annual Lewes Garden Tour is June 17

LEWES — The Lewes Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau will hold its 32nd annual Lewes Garden Tour on June 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There are seven private gardens on the tour this year. The locations are selected by the event committee’s co-chairs, with assistance from other members. The group is composed of co-chairs Pam Rankin and Carolyn Marshall, Susan Crawford (program garden descriptions) and Terry Yates (volunteer coordinator).

In addition to visiting the sites, the tour includes a garden market and food tent in Zwaanendael Park from 11 to 2.

Tickets are $30 in advance at leweschamber.com and $35 on the day of. Payment options include cash, credit cards and checks made out to the Lewes chamber. Tickets can be picked up at the chamber’s visitor center after May 26, at which time they will also be available to purchase there.

The visitor center is in the Fisher-Martin House in Zwaanendael Park, next to the Zwaanendael Museum. Its hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and seven days a week beginning May 27, when it will be open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays, through Oct. 1.
