Princess Anne water tower now undergoing painting, maintenance

Posted

PRINCESS ANNE — Southern Corrosion Inc. on behalf of the Somerset County Sanitary District has begun cleaning, painting and making repairs to the water tower at the end of Irving Street.

This is the oldest water storage tank in the system and this necessary maintenance is part of an ongoing effort to improve water quality in Princess Anne. It is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

The tower will be shrouded to contain any mist or dust produced by the work, and the contractor will take precautions to not interfere with residents in this area.
