Police identify victim in deadly Millsboro crash

By MILLSBORO - Robert Gentile, 85, of Dagsboro, was identified by Delaware State Police as the victim in a fatal motor vehicle collision on Wednesday.
Police said Mr. Gentile was driving a truck that was struck by another vehicle after it entered the intersection of Indian Mission Road and Beaver Dam Road at approximately 4:48 p.m.
Mr. Gentile was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. An 83-year-old female passenger was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where she was admitted for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the other involved vehicle, a 35-year-old Lincoln man, sustained minor injuries but refused medical treatment at the scene.
