'Dine & Discover' about religion on the Eastern Shore during program Nov. 3

PRINCESS ANNE — Learn about the roots of various religions on Maryland’s Eastern Shore from colonial times to present during a “Dine and Discover Night” program Thursday, Nov. 3 at 5:30 p.m. at Manokin Presbyterian Church.

History professor and a Nabb Center founder Dr. Ray Thompson will lead a presentation and discuss the beginnings and struggles of various Christian denominations still in practice in our community today.

A meal will be provided to start things off followed by the presentation in Manokin’s Community Building (next to the sanctuary).

The event is in recognition of Manokin Presbyterian Church’s 350th anniversary. Everyone is invited, please RSVP to Monyah Cloud, Administrative Assistant, 410-651-0763 or manokinchurch@outlook.com. The church and community building are at 11892 Somerset Avenue.
