MAC’s Soles for Seniors Festival is Oct. 5

SALISBURY — Fun for all ages is on the agenda for MAC’s Soles for Seniors Festival, to be held Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the MAC campus, located at 909 Progress Circle in Salisbury.

Featured will be a 1-mile fun walk, craft fair, local business and community vendors, music, food and activities for children.

The festival kicks off with the 1-mile fun walk. All ages are welcome! Walk teams are forming now; individual walkers also are welcome.

Day-of Walk registration and check-in starts at 7:30 a.m. with the walk stepping off at 9 a.m. Dogs are welcome to walk with their owners for no additional fee. Dogs must be on a leash and must be under the control of their owner.

Prizes will be awarded for top fund-raising walk teams and individuals, and best team spirit. Additional prizes will be awarded to the Best Dressed Dog and MAC’s Choice Best Dog. Awards will be presented at 10 a.m.
Walk registration is $20 in advance, $25 the day of the walk. All registered walkers receive an event T-shirt.

Also planned is a craft fair, featuring a selection of beautiful items made by local artisans. Craft vendor reservations are still available; the cost is $25 per space.
