Dover City Council was scheduled consider on Monday an application to rezone three parcels of land along the north side of West Division Street and east of North Queen Street, which, if approved, would be the new home of the Dover Interfaith Mission for Housing. The nonprofit is currently located on Forest Street in Dover.
- Since the city of Dover is forcing them out of their current home across from The Salvation Army, it is only appropriate for them to unanimously approve this new location. With the unanimous consent of the zoning commission, there is no reason for this to become a drawn-out process. Hopefully, the city will allow them to stay in the current location until the new building is ready for use. — Bob Skuse
