Speak Out: Most have adjusted to wearing masks

Love them or hate them, agree or disagree on their protective value — facial coverings are here to stay for the foreseeable future as a precautionary public health norm.

• Because so many aren’t wearing them, gathering in large groups over the holidays. Some were very angry and dismissive about being told they shouldn’t gather this year. Every time I go into the grocery store, I see people with their masks on their chins.
