An open letter to Senators Coons and Carper regarding the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh:
Just confirm him; it’s a done deal. Your stalling is all about politics. Just because his “interpretation” of the Constitution is different than yours, does not make it a wrong “interpretation.”
Frankly, I don’t understand how there can be such a disparity in left vs. right “interpretations” of the Constitution; words mean what they say and there shouldn’t be a lot of “wiggle room.”
There being such a division within SCOTUS makes it really hard for me to trust that any decision they make is the “constitutionally correct” one; it seems that most SCOTUS decisions are all about politics.
