Craft beer and classic rock band Grand Funk Railroad will be closing the Delaware State Fair on Saturday, Aug. 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the 2015 Delaware State Fair’s Craft Beer Festival.
This three-hour concert and craft beer event will showcase over 50 craft beers from craft breweries. Attendees will sample beers on the track of the M&T Bank Grandstand with the sounds of live music from Grand Funk Railroad and local favorite lower case blues. Food trucks will also be on hand.
Seating is general admission with a limited number of seats, $25 for just a concert ticket, $35 for concert ticket plus a souvenir cup and five 4-ounce craft beer samples. Additional tickets may be purchased at the event.
Delaware State Fair officials recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to the event as ID checks must be performed. In order to receive your tasting tickets and a 21-plus wristband, you must have your printed paper ticket in hand.
"We're always trying new entertainment ideas and a craft beer festival with food trucks and live music seem to fit well for the folks coming out to the last night of the Delaware State Fair. Our Triple Threat BBQ, Beer & Music Festival was a huge hit in April and we thought this would be a great entertainment mix for our guest.” says Danny Aguilar, assistant general manager and director of marketing for the Delaware State Fair.
Tickets for this and all other acts, which includes New Kids on the Block, Bryan Adams and Meghan Trainor, may be purchased by going to www.DelawareStateFair.com.
