Lord receives TidalHealth Nanticoke’s Sunshine Award
SEAFORD — TidalHealth Nanticoke has announced that certified surgical technologist Tiffany Lord of the Surgical Specialties and Robotics Unit is its inaugural Sunshine Award recipient.
Ms. Lord was selected for the care and attention shown to a recent patient, who submitted the following nomination:
“Tiffany is such a great person. When I first was getting out of bed after surgery, I took an hour, but not once did she try to rush me, nor did she act like I was getting on her nerves. Every time I rang the bell, she was there in good time and helped me with everything. She even walked with me and gave me someone to talk to while I was moving around and couldn’t sleep. Tiffany went above and beyond for me and made my stay easier.”
Ms. Lord was honored in a ceremony before her co-workers and presented with flowers, a pin and a certificate recognizing her devotion to the team and to patient care.
