Clothing Our Kids receives $2,000 donation from Gallo Gives
By Glenn RolfeMILLSBORO – Clothing Our Kids, a nonprofit all-volunteer organization that serves the needs of students in Sussex County, is among the beneficiaries of the Gallo Gives Foundation.
Clothing Our Kids recently received a $2,000 quarterly donation. Foundation manager Andrew Ratner presented the award to COK Grant Chair Peter Thomas and Donor Relations Volunteer Cindy Young.
The Gallo Gives Foundation is a charitable arm of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty. The foundation is managed by the Greater Lewes Foundation.
Most of the funds are contributed by the agents and staff of PenFed Realty, and the company generously matches 100% of all contributions. Established in 2016, the Gallo Gives Foundation has donated over $300,000 to local and worldwide charitable organizations.
COK, a 501(c)3 organization made up of over 100 volunteers, uses funds to directly clothe school kids in need, from Pre-K through high school to help ensure students feel good about attending and staying in school.
