NEW CASTLE—Nonprofit organizations in New Castle County are now eligible for two additional grant programs to address impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Funding up to $1,000,000 has been allocated toward museums promoting equity in history, arts and/or sciences, and up to $500,000 has been allocated to organizations supporting animal welfare.
Applications for both programs can be found at newcastlede.gov and will remain open through Dec. 16.
The two grant programs are part of a total of $9.55 million in funding for New Castle County-based non-profits from the county’s overall American Rescue Plan Act funding.
Applications will be reviewed for compliance with the federal funding requirements by New Castle County’s compliance partner, Guide House. Additional grant opportunities will be announced in the coming months.
