Faw Casson awards scholarships to local Delmarva students

Faw Casson CPAs announces the recipients of the Faw Casson Future Accountant Scholarship for 2023.  This program recognizes local students who are pursuing a career in accounting and provides them with financial assistance to support their educational journey.

The winners of the $2,000 Faw Casson Future Accountant Scholarship 2023 are:

  • Samantha White, a student at Lake Forest High School, has demonstrated exemplary dedication and commitment to her education. Samantha's outstanding academic performance and her involvement in various accounting-related activities have set her apart. Samantha plans to continue her educational journey at the University of Delaware this fall, where she will pursue her passion for accounting.
  • Kamryn Payne, a graduate of Sussex Central High School, has exhibited exceptional leadership skills and a strong interest in the field of accounting. Kamryn's impressive academic record and active participation in community service activities have showcased her commitment to making a positive impact. As Kamryn embarks on her journey at Salisbury University, she looks forward to using her accounting skills to contribute to her community.
  • Robert Adkins, a graduate of Pokomoke High School, has exhibited a remarkable passion for accounting throughout his academic journey. Robert's exemplary academic achievements and his active involvement in accounting-related clubs have showcased his dedication and potential. Robert will be attending Salisbury University, where he aims to further develop his skills and knowledge.

The Faw Casson Future Accountant Scholarship will open for applications for 2024 on Nov. 1.
