Central Delaware Economic Summit Sept. 19 in Dover

DOVER — The Central Delaware Economic Summit, which brings together leaders in business, government, education, and the community to focus on improving the economic conditions and quality of life in central Delaware, will take place Sept. 19 with the overarching theme of “AI (Artificial Intelligence) in the Economy and Society.” 

The summit will be held in the Del-One Conference Center on the Delaware Technical Community College Terry Campus. A Zoom option will be available.

Doors open at 8 a.m. for networking, visits with vendors, and a continental breakfast. Opening remarks begin at 9 a.m. 

James Collins, Microsoft Public Sector Leader for the Americas, will deliver the keynote address. Prior to Microsoft, Mr. Collins served as the CIO for the State of Delaware and previously in several leadership roles including Deputy Secretary of State, Governor’s Deputy Chief of Staff, and the Director of Professional Regulation. 

Registration for in-person participants is $35. There is no cost to attend virtually but registration is required.

Registration must be completed on the summit website at dtcc.edu/economicsummit.
