Cape Henlopen schools to review Superintendent Fulton’s contract

LEWES — The Cape Henlopen Board of Education revealed it is going to consider and possibly approve or deny Superintendent of Schools Robert Fulton’s contract at a retreat scheduled for Aug. 15 at 6 p.m.

During the earlier executive session, which is not open to the public, the board will perform its evaluation of Mr. Fulton and discuss the contract before returning to open session later in the evening.

Mr. Fulton was named superintendent in 2012, but began his career at Cape in the 1990s as a special education teacher; at the time of his promotion, Mr. Fulton was the human resources director and assistant superintendent for the district.
