Smyrna woman dies in single-vehicle crash

CAMDEN _—A 45-year-old Smyrna woman died in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday, Delaware State Police said.

According to police, Tammy Munson was driving a Ford F-150 at approximately 2:33 p.m. when it exited Westville Road on a curve before crashing. The incident occurred in the area of Probst Lane, authorities said.

Ms. Munson was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The roadway was closed for approximately four hours while the investigators examined the scene and cleared the roadway.

Investigation continues and police asked anyone who witnessed this crash to contact Sgt. A. Mitchell by calling 302-698-8518. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
