Smyrna Opera House welcomes Soul of America

SMYRNA — Soul of America will perform June 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Smyrna Opera House.

It features The Uptown Horns, famed horn section for Aretha Franklin, James Brown, The Rolling Stones, Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen, a Wilson Pickett lookalike and Otis Redding soundalike in Early Clover, backed by three singers and dancers.

Rounding out the show are Grammy-winning guitarist Paul Nelson and musical director Ivan Bodley whose career spans performances with over 40 Hall of Fame legends.
