SMYRNA — Sheldon Hudson has resigned as Smyrna’s town manger, he confirmed on Wednesday.
Via text message, Mr. Hudson said his last day of work was Tuesday and described the change as parting “ways cordially on both sides.”
Mr. Hudson joined Smyrna’s town government in Oct 2022, after serving in the same position in Millsboro.
On his LinkedIn profile Mr. Hudson listed his experience beginning this month as a consultant with Hudson Municipal Consulting.
Also, Mr. Hudson said he planned to stay in the area.
Mr. Hudson has been an adjunct professor with Regent University since August 2022, according to LinkedIn.
