DOVER — Becker Morgan Group’s sustained growth has led to 19 new staff members across offices and disciplines within the last year.
Since the new year, the architectural, civil engineering, surveying, interior design, marketing, finance and administrative departments have grown.

Central Del. Habitat to host Vendor & Trade Happy Hour
DOVER — The Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity will be hosting a Vendor & Trade Happy Hour at The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grill at 391 N. Dupont Hwy. on Sept. 30 from 3 until 5 p.m.
Anyone with a specialty in the trades, or who owns a trade company or construction vendor company, is welcome to attend,
The party is designed to let companies meet CDHFH’s construction team, learn about its upcoming 2022 projects and programs, and hear why their bid for 2022 is vital for the community.
Refreshments will be provided to all attendees. Alcohol will be available for purchase. CDHFH will hold a brief presentation at 4 p.m.
CDHFH is a nonprofit that provides homeownership and other improvement opportunities for those in Kent County. It is looking to partner with local businesses to build and repair homes in the community.

Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club receives KFC grant
SEAFORD — The Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club in Seaford was awarded a $10,000 grant by the Kentucky Fried Wishes program on Sept. 9 to celebrate Colonel Sanders’ birthday.
The organization was nominated by RR Ventures, the Charlestown, Maryland-based KFC team, for the meaningful work that they do within their community.
Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club will use the funds to develop a garden/greenhouse project at their Seaford location.
The project, “Specialty Crops for Healthier Communities,” will incorporate an on-site garden as the basis of an educational program to teach youth and families the importance of specialty crops, such as blueberries, blackberries, and goji berries.
In addition, youth participants will learn how to plant, care for, harvest and prepare vegetables they grow for consumption.
In honor of KFC’s famous 11 herbs and spices, the Kentucky Fried Wishes program awarded 11 nonprofit organizations with a $10,000 grant each to help further advance their efforts.

MILFORD — The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of Next Level Nutrition on Sept. 9 at 915 N. DuPont Blvd., Suite 103, in Milford.
