REHOBOTH BEACH — The Rehoboth Beach – Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce joined the owners of Beaches – The Green Truck Shop for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening in downtown Rehoboth Beach on June 29.

The home decor shop carries modern farmhouse, some antiques, French country, gifts, jewelry and more.

Owners Kevin and Dana Peccon have made Sussex County their home after vacationing here for many years. The Peccon's, who moved from Williamsport, Maryland, started their business in 2012.

After six months of living here in Delaware, they opened the business at 33 C Baltimore Avenue.

The store's name is derived from the green Chevy pick-up truck that has been in the family since 1966. After the summer season, it will be parked near the shop on special occasions. There are green toy trucks and decor for sale throughout the shop.
