Delaware Community Foundation staff members earn Diversity Crew training, certificates

Posted

Four more Delaware Community Foundation staff members have earned certificates in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from Diversity Crew Institute, strengthening their skills and underscoring the organizational commitment to building a more inclusive community.

Mike DiPaolo, Satheesh Nadarajah, Matt Popelka and Yolanda Rushdan completed their training in the fall and winter. Chris Chapdelaine, Sarah Grunewald and Allison Taylor Levine completed their certification last year.

Diversity Crew Institute provides training programs to foster immediate actions toward a more equitable and inclusive environment in organizations and communities.

“We are so pleased that the staff is committed to this work,” DCF President and CEO Stuart Comstock-Gay said. “This coursework is important to the foundation’s goal of creating a more equitable environment not only in the office, but in Delaware.”

A new cohort of DCF staff members is set to begin its work towards a DEI certification in the near future, with the goal of getting every staff member certified.
