Brandywine Valley SPCA celebrates 299 adoptions

DOVER – The Brandywine Valley Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals celebrated 299 adoptions at its Delaware and Pennsylvania locations during the recent Clear the Shelter campaign.

With adoption fees waived Saturday, Sept. 7 in the nationwide shelter-clearing program, BVSPCA’s New Castle campus led in Delaware with 62 adoptions, followed by Georgetown campus with 44 adoptions, the Animal Rescue Center near Georgetown (16) and Dover with seven.

Overall, West Chester led with 129 adoptions and Plymouth Meeting 41.
