Kent County excellence to be awarded Thursday
DOVER — The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce is set to host its highly anticipated annual Awards for Excellence Celebration on Thursday from 5:30-9 p.m.
This prestigious event will take place at the Rollins Center at Bally’s Dover (1131 N. Dupont Highway), where the business community will come together to honor outstanding achievements and contributions from local companies and individuals.
The awards ceremony serves as a wrap-up to the CDCC’s fiscal year, and what better way than to reflect and celebrate with the people who help make Kent County the best place to live, work and play. From sponsors, volunteers and business partners to ambassadors, the chamber could not have completed such a busy year without each and every one’s help.
This celebration is for our cherished community. The heart of this gathering is about honoring businesses and organizations that work so hard every day to better the quality of life for central Delawareans in various fields. We will award three well-deserved winners in the Small Business, Large Employer and Young Professional of the Year categories, voted upon by their fellow CDCC members.
In addition to the awardees, guests will enjoy time to network, enjoy delicious food and beverages, hear the State of the Chamber address and witness Leadership Central Delaware’s Class of 2024 walk across the stage and receive diplomas for successfully completing the Diamond Program.
