Central Delaware NAACP to host voter education series

DOVER — The central Delaware branch of the NAACP has announced a two-part series, “Voter Vibes: Learn the Process and Meet the Candidates,” in collaboration with Restoring Central Dover.

The first event takes place Aug. 14 at 6 p.m. on Zoom and is meant to educate voters about the electoral process, voter registration and the importance of civic engagement.

The second gathering is Aug. 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the Dover Public Library, 35 Loockerman Plaza. It will include a candidate forum, during which attendees can hear from local candidates and learn about their positions on key issues.

Both are free and open to the public, but registration is required by emailing naacpcentralde@gmail.com.
