PERRYVILLE – It was a heck of a season for North Dorchester Eagles volleyball, with thrilling games, community support and a spirit of sisterhood among the players, but it concluded on Friday with a 3-0 loss to the Perryville Panthers in the Regional Championships.
It was the second year in a row the Eagles made it to the final 8 in the 1As, a notable accomplishment for a program that has only now completed its fourth season.
“They say all good things must come to an end - and this season and team have been a very good thing,” Head Coach Carol Hubbard said. “I want to thank the girls for letting me be a part of their lives. I am a better person and coach because of you all. Thank you to the parents for your constant and unwavering support. It has been amazing for our team and is very evident in the wonderful young ladies you have raised. Thank you for sharing them with me.”
