Class of ’57 group gives to Pleasant Day

Posted

CAMBRIDGE – The Cambridge High School Class of 1957 Breakfast Group visited Pleasant Day Medical Adult Day Care recently to donate funds to the One Vet One Day program. The gift was made in memory of their classmate and the group’s co-founder, Hubert Trego, who passed last year.

Mr. Trego was also a past president and longtime supporter of the Dorchester County Commission on the Aging, Inc., the nonprofit corporation that operates Pleasant Day. The One Vet One Day program raises money to provide veterans additional days of attendance as the Veterans Administration provides only two days a week to the center. The program has sponsored more than 1,500 days of attendance for veterans since its inception in 2016.
