Wesleyan Activities

The Cambridge Wesleyan Church is now offering two services. 8:30 a.m. Traditional service and 10:45 a.m. a Contemporary service. Sunday,

Noonday services

New Life Christian Church and Ministries, 923 Phillips St., Cambridge holds noonday services every Wednesday. 6:30 p.m. Bible Study Series “Managing Our Emotions.” Open to the public. For more information, contact New Life Church at: 410-221-7853.

Gleaners Class

The Gleaners Class of St. Paul’s UM Church in Cambridge will meet Sunday at 9:45 a.m. with Gloria Whaley having the devotions and Dot Bradshaw teaching the lesson. Leon Peters will have the devotions and teach the lesson when the Richardson Men’s Class meets.

Nazarene Services

On Sunday at 10:45 a.m. the Rev. Richard Prahl will be preaching the Third Sunday of Advent on Luke 3:7-18. There will bre a presentation of “Take Me Back to Bethlehem” directed by Jay Lewis. The church is located at 97 Sandy Hill Road in Cambridge. The public is invited to all services.

Fried Fish Dinner

Fried Fish Dinner on Dec. 14 from 11 a.m. until at the Mt. Calvary UM Church, 22903 Dover Bridge Road, Preston, Md.

Menu: fried fish, fried potatoes, stewed tomatoes, string beans and cornbread. Donation: $12. Sponsored by UMM. The Rev. Darlene Dixon, pastor.

Candlelight Service

There will be a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at Faith Baptist Fellowship, 1312 Race St., Cambridge.

Bring your family and friends to this special time of worship when we will share and sing about Jesus coming to earth as our Savior and Lord, said the Rev. Randall Blackmon, pastor.

There will be special music by the church choir and an inspiring message from the Pastor Blackmon. The service will conclude by candlelight.

Christmas Concert

The Agape Temple of Praise and Ministries, Inc. will have a Christmas Concert at 5 p.m. Saturday featuring ATPM Youth and Young Adult Praise Dancers, Adult Praise Dancers and soloist, Minister Javavonda Tilghman. The public is invited. A freewill offering will be taken.

On Dec. 31 the church will hold a Watchnight Service beginning at 10 p.m. All are welcome. Pastor is V. Louise Cornish. The church is located at 815 Center St., Cambridge.

Sister to Sister

Sister to Sister is a women’s ministry of the New Life Christian Church and Ministries. The ministry meets the 2nd Saturday of every month with a themed event for food, fellowship and/or prayer. There is no charge and all are welcome.

Bring a friend and enjoy the fellowship. The church is located at 923 Phillips St., Cambridge. Bishop Weldon M. Johnson is the presiding prelate.
