SALISBURY – The Cambridge-South Dorchester High School men’s basketball team did something Tuesday the Vikings haven’t done since the 1990s – they won the Bayside Athletic Conference championship.

Head Coach Shawn Tucker posted online, “With a 70-57 win over Stephen Decatur High School, we are your 2023-24 Bayside Champions and move to 21-2 on the season. Let’s keep it rolling, fellas. Next up: 1A State Playoffs.”

The squad was led by Koby Ennals, with 21 points, followed by LaShaun Moody with 18 and Sterling Perkins with 12.

The team is known for its players’ good size. The Vikings have also gained a reputation for their physicality, important qualities in the challenging opponents they’ll face in western shore schools.

Away games don’t seem to bother the Vikings – they are 9-0 on the road. The team is on a seven-game winning streak.

Throughout the season, C-SD’s men have scored 1,701 points, and given up just 1,091.

The roster is comprised of Anthony Hughes, Koby Ennals, Jaden Harris, Alvin Hutton, Lashaun Moody, K’Marion Hall, Semaj Pinder, Isaiah Wilcox, Darren Belizaire, TJ Wilson and Isaiah Wilcox.

Feb. 28: Regional Quarterfinals – Girls host Crisfield
