TidalHealth in Seaford names Team Members of Quarter

SEAFORD — TidalHealth Nanticoke honors the following team members as Team Members of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2022:

  • Cheryl Agan — Ms. Agan, of nursing administration, is a Team Member of the Quarter for administrative and support services. She has a history of over 21 years with TidalHealth Nanticoke, and her dedication does not go unnoticed. She is always willing to help team members in any way possible. She was nominated by a colleague for going above and beyond to help them with payroll education and troubleshooting.
  • Brandi McAvey — Ms. McAvey, of radiology, is a Team Member of the Quarter for professional services. She has been a radiology technologist for over 20 years. She works with surgeons and radiologists to provide exceptional care to patients. Most of these patients are facing a critical time in their lives, as they have been presented with a diagnosis that has long-term ramifications on their treatments and survival. Ms. McAvey provides more than just her technical skills — she provides compassionate care and will listen to patients in perhaps their darkest moments.
  • Alison Mowery — Ms. Mowery, of the Emergency Department, is a Team Member of the Quarter for nursing services. She has an incredible work ethic, approaches problems and concerns fairly, and consistently demonstrates a positive attitude and professionalism. She does everything she can to give excellent care to her patients and team, and serves as a resource for newer staff. She has had perfect attendance for over five years and is dedicated to her team.
  • Alexa Jester — Ms. Jester, of the Intensive Care Unit, is a Team Member of the Quarter for nursing services. She strives to do her best at all times for every patient. She is sure to ask questions as needed and is meticulous in her care. Ms. Jester provides education to patients and families while providing care, as well as diagnoses and new medications. She was recognized by a team member for the excellent care and compassion she provided to the family of a patient who made the decision to provide the gift of life through organ donation.
