Sussex Tech students selected for art exhibition

Posted

GEORGETOWN — Sussex Technical High School Digital Publishing and Graphic Design Technologies students Alana Furst, Emilie Mozingo and Theo Richardson were selected to be part of the Pacem in Terris Traveling Peace Youth Art Exhibition.

Their work was chosen by community leaders when it was displayed at the seventh annual Pacem in Terris Visionary Peace Youth Art Exhibition at the Wilmington Public Library in January. The judges selected the pieces with the strongest messages of peace to be part of the traveling show.

The three Sussex Tech students were selected from 550 submitted works.

Their art will be displayed through November at over 20 locations, including state service centers, libraries and courthouses. The students also received recognition at a celebratory event in April.
