Public can hear from Georgetown candidates May 9
GEORGETOWN – A meet-the-candidates event is scheduled for Thursday, May 9, two days before the Town of Georgetown municipal election.
Invited to participate are mayoral candidates Angela Townsend and current May Bill West, and unopposed council candidates Eric Evans (Third Ward) and incumbent Penuel Barrett (Fourth Ward).
The event, presented by the Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Sussex County Council Chambers in the County Administration Building on The Circle. It will be moderated by Dan Gaffney.
This provides constituents the opportunity to hear from the candidates.
