Renovations continuing at TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford
SEAFORD — TidalHealth Nanticoke will soon begin the second phase of a series of renovations to the fourth and fifth floors, resulting in the temporary relocation of two services at different times over the next 24-36 months.
The work will impact the Surgical Specialties and Robotics Unit and the Obstetrics Unit.
Following Phase One, the Surgical Specialties Unit returned to its fifth-floor space. Next week, the Obstetrics Unit will temporarily relocate to the first floor.
The renovation project on Obstetrics’ fourth-floor location is expected to last approximately one year. Once complete, a second move of the Surgical Specialties Unit back downstairs is scheduled, while a final refurbishing of its permanent fifth-floor unit is done. At that time, Obstetrics will return to the fourth floor.
While the renovations are underway, TidalHealth team members, including security officers, will be available to assist visitors, and signage will be posted.
