Letter to the Editor: Seaside Jewish Community appreciative of support

Seaside Jewish Community is incredibly thankful to have the support of so many people in our community. Religious, political and cultural leaders have reached out to us and have taken public stances against anti-Semitism in response to the derogatory literature recently spread around parts of Rehoboth Beach.

We appreciate the public and private support for the Jewish population of southern Delaware and continue to value our friendships and partnerships. This unity against prejudice has warmed our spirit and brought us peace as we celebrate our High Holy Days.

“Love your neighbor as yourself” — Leviticus 19:18.

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity” — Psalms 133:1.
