Laurel man arrested in attempted murder case

SEAFORD - A 30-year-old Laurel man was arrested Tuesday in connection with the investigation of an attempted murder on Aug. 17, Seaford Police spokesperson Deputy Chief Michael Rapa said.

Police said an arrest warrant had been obtained for Rihem D. Frisby following an incident in the Chandler Heights neighborhood where a person suffered a single gunshot wound to the head. Mr. Frisby was taken into custody without incident during a vehicle stop.

Mr. Frisby was charged with first-degree attempted murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, and two counts of criminal mischief over $1,000. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $522,000 cash bond.

Mr. Frisby was also found to have numerous capiases out of several Delaware courts, police said.
