DOVER — A 59-year-old Hartly woman died from injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash Friday.
At approximately 3:11 p.m., a Buick Century was traveling east on Rose Bowl Road and stopped at the stop sign at North Dupont Highway, according to Delaware State Police.
At the same time, police said, a Nissan Sentra was traveling south in the left lane of North Dupont Highway, approaching Rose Bowl Road.
Police said the Century moved from the stop sign attempting to cross the southbound lanes of North Dupont Highway, in front of the Sentra, resulting in the Sentra striking the Century’s driver’s side door in the left lane of the highway.
The driver of the Century, Eva Buck, was taken to an area hospital by ambulance, where she died.
The other driver was taken to an area hospital by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries.
The road was closed for approximately 2.5 hours.
