Dover garden club awards scholarships
DOVER — The Sprig & Twig Garden Club awarded two college scholarships at its April meeting.
High school seniors Emma Higgins of Caesar Rodney High School and Noah Dixon of Lake Forest High School were the honorees. Ms. Higgins will attend The Ohio State University, and Mr. Dixon will attend Delaware State University.
They each received $1,500 scholarships. One award was in memory of longtime club member Dorothy Harrison.
This is the 41st year the group has awarded scholarships to Kent County graduates.
