Posted

DOVER – Dover Air Force Base rescheduled its’ planned annual Holiday Parade and Base Tree Lighting ceremony until Monday, Dec. 5, at 4:30 p.m. due to the rainy conditions that persisted throughout the First State on Wednesday.

The Dover AFB Chapel will head the parade and Christmas tree lighting, which will take place at DAFB Chapel 2 in base housing.

During the event, the family of a deployed Airman will participate in the Dover AFB tradition of lighting the base Christmas tree.

Col. Matt Husemann, 436th Airlift Wing commander, and Dover Mayor Robin Christiansen will be speaking at the event.
