DOVER — A 30-year-old woman was wounded in a shooting Sunday that resulted in five arrests, Delaware State Police said.

According to spokeswoman Cpl. Amina Ali, at approximately 6:35 p.m., troopers responded to the incident at a large party on the soccer field in the 200 block of Lewis Drive. They found a woman with a gunshot wound and two vehicles that had been struck by gunfire.

One of the vehicles was occupied by a 30-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man, neither of whom was struck, Cpl. Ali said. The second car was unoccupied.

The injured woman was transported by emergency medical services to an area hospital and was in stable condition Monday afternoon.
