What are your thoughts on the upgrades to DSU’s athletic facilities?

Delaware State University is undertaking a significant transformation project for its sports facilities, to the tune of $125 million. Plans call for a new field house, renovations to Alumni Stadium and the eventual construction of a convocation center. How do you feel about the upgrades? Are these changes needed? Are there others you would suggest?
Better facilities could bring more money to the university. The stadium needs work. Ever since Abessinio (Baynard) Stadium was upgraded, I think it’s actually better than Delaware State University. Question is, where will they build it? DSU doesn’t have a lot of room. — Rick Kerchevall

Anything to improve the city of Dover is welcomed and needed. What’s going to be done to improve the quality of the education received at DSU? — Pmr Pmr
I am all in favor of improving any of the facilities at DSU. This will only benefit Dover as a whole. — Ellen Hart Richardson
