In response to Frederick Longacre’s recent Opinion (“In politics, it’s reality and morality vs. fantasy and cruelty”), Kamala Harris offered no facts, only word salads on the wrong side of 80/20 issues.
Donald Trump had four years to formulate a plan. His plan included closing the border, which Harris, as border czar, could not do while vice president for four years. Trump closed the border on Day 1! Trump’s plan included deporting illegal immigrants and supporting and backing the police, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Border Patrol. Trump will preserve Social Security for generations to come. Also, there will be no taxes on tips, overtime and Social Security. He’s bringing manufacturing back to the USA, as well. And you can’t forget “Drill, baby, drill!” which makes the country energy-independent. Trump is removing men from women’s sports, so women can claim the rewards they worked so hard for without being beaten up by men. Trump stopped diversity, equity and inclusion measures and gender-affirming care, so children’s bodies would not be mutilated without their parents knowing it. Trump is bringing America back to the world stage of trade, so the nation comes first with even tariffs. Trump is greatly reducing the Department of Education, which Jimmy Carter started, so education returns to the states where it belongs, and so children will learn.
The Department of Government Efficiency found billions of dollars of fraud, including dead people listed as ages 125, 150 and older receiving Social Security. DOGE also found illegal immigrants on Medicaid, who were removed, so Medicaid can last longer for the people who need and deserve it. The department modernized the government retirement system, so it is no longer a pen-and-paper process. It also got rid of the U.S. Agency for International Development, which was a Democratic scheme to put money in the pockets of Democratic donors.
Trump is just getting started to “Make America Great Again” and bring us into the golden age. Trump brought us back to God, family and country. Thank you, President Trump!
