With seafood being an integral part of the plates of many Delawareans, it is important to know what fish are safe to consume. But a March report from the Environmental Integrity Project contained concerning news for the First State. The report evaluated the success of the Clean Water Act as it reached its 50th anniversary. Of all 50 states, Delaware sported the highest percentage of polluted rivers and streams, it said. Naturally, this can cause worry for residents looking to ingest fish from their local bodies of water.
